Living the in suburbs is a quintessential part of the American Dream. When you think of the American Dream, whats the first thing that comes to mind? Let me take a guess; a beautiful husband and wife standing arm-in-arm at the door of their mid sized home, little junior running around in their small front yard chasing a puppy. A white picket fence separates them from the rest of their equally perfect cul-de-sac. The street is quiet but for the laughs of the children playing; no sounds of rushing traffic filling our perfect cul-de-sac family's ears. The family waves as the dad gets in his mid-sized Sedan and drives to his office job in the city. The idea of living in the peaceful suburbs has been around longer than we expect, but what if the end of these seemingly perfect living conditions is nearing? Thats the what author of The End of the Suburbs: Where the American Dream is Moving, Leigh Gallagher, believes. After browsing my website, you can make your own decision.
